With the cost of food jumping to unheard of levels in the grocery store many people are considering the home garden however you must use some common sense when deciding what to plant as some foods may be cheaper to purchase then to grow.

Most of us traditionally do a spring clean up to discard the accrued yearly waste from previous wintry storms. We seem to try outdoing the neighbors in the bag count we can fill, being oblivious of their true contents. Maybe we don’t realize the value and worth of it all.

Grow a Garden, Harvest Truly Fresh Vegetables

Most of us have at one time or other visited grandma's house to partake in her newly harvested tomatoes, or even freshly picked onions in the quaint back yard garden patch. You knew they were fresh because the garden soil had to be washed off those that were dug up.
