Grow Bladderworts (Utricularia)
by Maxx, Aug 23, 2007
What do you get when you cross an orchid flower with a mouth and then a fast acting response system? You get something pretty much like an Utricularia. They are the most numerous carnivorous plants (200 something species) on earth, and have the smallest, and fastest, traps of any known carnivorous plans. They also have showy, orchid like flowers.

Drosera are a remarkable group of plants. They are pretty much akin to all other flowering plants except for a few things.

Nepenthes Ventricosa
by Maxx, Aug 25, 2007
N. ventricosa is probably the prettiest beginner's carnivorous plant. It is by far the easiest nepenthes to grow and very exotic looking. Highly recommended!
