My sister recently purchased a new home, on a very large, bare lot.
She decided to plant a lot of trees around the
back of the home to add a little personality to the property. She was having
a bit of a problem watering the trees as they needed. .
I suggested to her, after she told me about the
small problem of watering the trees, so that they would not die before
taking root, that she take an old water hose and cut holes in it so many
inches apart according to the distance between the trees. Then lay the
hose in front of the trees.
Then, she could turn the hose off at the nozzle,
turn on the water and let the water drizzle through the hose whenever
she wanted to water the trees without having to be in attendance while
the trees were being watered.
This tip might solve someone else's problem as
well.
