I lost my little friend Scout the other day. She was a victim of a hit and run driver.
She was my little buddy. She was one of my family and thought she owned the house.
Scout was a little chihuahua who was bold and saucey. She was very attached to my
daughter Tarah almost to the point of jealousy. If Tarah was around Scout would guard her.
She would lick and kiss Tarah and cuddle up to her at all times. Tarah took her everywhere
and Scout had many friends.
When Tarah wasn't around, Scout and I were best buddies. I would sneak her some food
and she would lay on my shoulder and lick on my face. My other dog Sassy (a papillon) would
throw fits and I would have to put her in my lap also.
Scout and Sassy would run in the yard together and fight over food. Scout seemed to
always get the better of Sassy, but they got along pretty well. Even Sassy can tell that
something is amiss without Scout.
Scout bought a lot of happiness to my home and brightened up our lives in the short
time that she was with us. We will miss here dearly and hope she is brightening up lives
in doggy heaven.
