Potty Training
Potty training can be really difficult or very easy. I will explain a really easy to use potty training plan.
First Month
In the first month, your new dog might go to the bathroom every one to one and a half hours so when it is time take it outside or to another preferable place so that it can do its thing. At night, it will most likely have to go so put some newspaper under its sleeping place. Also, move its sleeping place a few centimeters everyday so that it gets close to the door and since the dog has an excellent sense of smell it will go to the place it usually goes.
Second month
It might go every two to two and a half hours or so. So take it outside at these times. Use the same treatment for nighttime as said before. Also, start moving the dog's bathroom outside because then the dog will go outside and you won't have to smell stinky substances.
Third month
Your dog might go every 3 hours now and might stop going at nighttime. It is still recommended that you put newspaper under its sleeping area.
Fourth month onwards
The dog might go every four hours or so. It might even stop going at night and then it will be done potty training. As time passes, the dog will become more independent on were to go to the bathroom and stuff and it will become more reliable. Congratulation! Your Dog Has Been Potty Trained
Behavior
When your dog ever does something wrong like bite something then you can give it a look of disapproval. When it does something good give it a treat. Don't ever yell at it because it will start getting out of control. Keep doing this and it will gradually learn over the process. Also, if you yell at your dog, it will start feeling stressed out if it doesn't understand what it is doing wrong.
Tricks
This might sound silly, but in order to teach it tricks you have to actually show the tricks yourself. I'll explain to you, how to teach your dog how to sit.
First, say sit and then you sit down. If your dog does the tricks wrong then don't ever yell at it or it will be stressed out when you tell it to perform the trick again. Just say no and give a gentle look of disapproval (Don't even glare at it, what do you want to do scare its soul out?) and keep repeating it until it gets the trick right. When it does then give it a treat that it enjoys and it will keep doing the trick it is being taught right. After the dog has mastered one trick go onto the next trick and keep teaching it tricks until it knows all the ones you can think of.
