How to take care of a Fiddler crab. |
- Fiddler crabs live on sand beaches or in mud marshes.
- A simple or elaborate one can make a good home for the crab.
- You will need to provide a shallow water dish of freshwater for your crabs.
- Add enough saltwater to cover the sand.
- Feed small amounts of food, and remove and uneaten food everyday.
- Feed once every one or two days.
- You can keep them as singles or groups.
- Fiddler Crabs are not suitable for community fish tanks. In a freshwater aquarium they will only live a month or two.
- Change 1/3 of the water once or twice a month.
- Fiddler crabs do well at a range of temperatures between about 75-85 F.
- They even need land with plenty of fresh air and water.
