The Chihuahua is a really cute little dog. This dog has an apple shaped face and has ears that stand erect. It has a short muzzle but a razor sharp bite, which can cause pain. This dog has massive black eyes which give it a great look. Sometimes its eyes look luminous and shine brightly.
This dog is the smallest dog on the planet. Some are so small that they can fit on a person's palm. These dogs are usually 3 to 12 inches. They can be teacups meaning extra small and they can just be the normal decent sized ones.
They can be split into two different categories. One of the types of Chihuahuas include short haired and the other types are long haired. Usually, the long haired ones have the soft fur while the short hairs can have rough fur to velvet.
These dogs tend to be suspicious of strangers and when somebody comes over they might follow their master's every step. They make excellent watch dogs because they do tend to bark a lot.
They should socialize at an early age because when they grow up, then they will be more nice and kind near different things like humans and other species of dogs. They would most likely be able to be nice to cats.
Being the smallest, they tend to get hurt easily and are prone to a few diseases. The long haired Chihuahua doesn't need that much daily grooming and it doesn't need trimming at all. The weird thing is that the short hair Chihuahua tends to shed more than the long haired one.
These dogs are the most adorable. They will be loyal and they are intelligent.
