Alaskan Husky’s generally have blue eyes, are about three feet tall and are very graceful. Alaskan Husky’s are an interesting breed. They love people, especially children. Although often viewed as a wolf dog, they have nothing in common with wolves. They are sensitive, loving animals. Alaskan Husky’s are extremely intelligent. Like most dogs, it takes work and dedication to house break them. But they learn tricks easily and can be taught right from wrong. Once an Alaskan Husky knows something is wrong, they usually will not test the water again.
They are great for running as well. Alaskan Husky’s love to go for jogs or walks. They are easy to train in this department because they simply love being with people and love to exercise. As far as living conditions go they are best suited for a fenced in yard, rather than an apartment or an open back yard. They need room to run, to be able to stretch out their legs or their hip joints may go bad for lack of exercise.
As far as breeding is concerned, they are still not technically viewed as a registered breed which is tragic. But given the blood lines, they will produce beautiful, playful puppy’s which will be easy to sell. Alaskan Husky’s do not have a bad reputation like a Pit Bull or a Doberman. They are just beautiful animals that people can recognize as loyal and loving.
