10 Good Reasons to Love Your Dog

Dogs are so important to their human friends, and this is why.

  1. Your dog will eat your burnt roast beef, flat tasting gravy, and lumpy mashed potatoes, as if it were the best gourmet meal ever cooked. You are a phenomenal chef to your pooch.
  2. Whatever you say or do to your dog, forgiveness is only a kind word and a pat away, because your dog cannot stay angry with you.
  3. Accessories are appreciated but not required. Those things just make him itchy and make unnecessary noise anyway.
  4. If you need to be needed, your dog will go over and above to fulfill this empty space you are carrying around.
  5. Like a genie, your dog will anticipate and try to satisfy your every wish.
  6. No matter where you go or how long you are gone, you will always be greeted with happiness and enthusiasm, like a long lost friend.
  7. Your dog will always love you under any conditions and never judge you no matter who your other friends are (you may be subject to the odd guilt trip though).
  8. No matter what your appearance is like or how bad your breath is in the morning, your dog will eagerly awaken you to start the day together (he probably wants to go out to do the morning business too).
  9. If your home and yard need protection from dangerous cats, squirrels or birds, you need look no further than your dog.
  10. Your dog gives you psychic abilities - yes…you can read his mind and hear his thoughts. Think!

Your dog is your best friend, and will be there for you whenever you need a warm cuddle and a happy buddy. Don't take your poochie pal for granted because they are here for such a short time and as much as we need them, they need us too.
