Similarly a batsman will pay full attention to the bowler, so that he can hit the bowl in time with full force, then he will be in a position to perform the best score.

Concentration of mind with regular practice is the only solution to get the best performance.

If you want to get advantage of positive auto suggestion, you must adjust your temperament accordingly. Most of you think, that your attitude at every time is positive, but it does change according to the negative behavior of others or your thinking. Your negative attitude and rough behaviors with others do lower the concentration of mind, which will result in poor performance of your daily activities.

WORKING ON SMALL AND SHORT RANGE GOALS

Everyone in life has goals to achieve, but you are to set your goals, which are realistic and give results soon. You are to decide about the goals, that they are not so difficult and also do not consume much time. Small and short-range goals are always easy to complete and success in such cases is sure. Your concentration is very important to achieve the short-range goals in your life.

ENVIRONMENT OF THE WORKPLACE/STUDY TABLE

It is very difficult to concentrate if your surroundings disturb your awareness, because it is noisy, too hot or too cold, the furniture is not comfortable or the people around you are creating disturbance. The main barriers for concentration are boredom, anxiety, and daydreaming. You are to set up an environment, which is conducive to study. It is always better to plan your study table at such a place, which is away from such distractions.

BRAIN IS THE MASTER COMPUTER

It is well known fact that there is an area just behind the forehead of your brain called frontal lobes. It is scientifically found that this part is the executive part of your brain. It is the main part, which controls all the activities of the brain. The brain cells like other muscles of the body need regular exercise to keep it active and healthy. Exercises of the brain cause physical changes and such changes occur within seconds. The brain becomes more powerful and effective with regular use of education, experience and mental exercise of the brain.

SUSTAINING THE FOCUS/ATTENTION FOR A LONGER TIME

The disturbance of telephone, radio, TV etc should be controlled which is disrupting your attention. You are emotional at certain situations, so it will be better to keep your balance and control under such conditions. You can sustain your focus/attention for a longer time, which will result in handling many projects and tasks at the same time without loosing your control. You can do more work in less time; even recall your memories for better clarity. You can solve more problems effectively and make very few mistakes. You can focus your attention for a longer time with regular and sincere practice for the brain.

TAKING CONTROL OF YOUR THOUGHTS AND ATTENTIONS

It is felt that when you concentrate in any area and focus your attention, then the frontal lobes of your brain lights up and gets activated within seconds. It means that the concentration is the ability that controls the executive functions of the brain and mind. In short, it is your master ability, which controls all your other abilities. When you master your concentration with regular practice, you get the direct control of your brain and mind.

INTEREST AND COMMITMENTS

If you have burning desire to complete some project, then this will create interest in that area. You are to concentrate on this area with time bound commitment to complete that task. If the project is properly planned before execution of each activity, then the interest to complete the task will increase which will help in accomplishment of the project. If you have the commitment to complete the task within the schedule time, then the interest will be in completing the project in time.
