In other words whether you fly once a year or once a day I found a new website that can help you save money.
First let me add I am in no way affiliated with the website I am about to tell you of. I found it through doing some research recently on ways to save money for an upcoming article. Instead of waiting for that article I wanted to get this information out there because I feel a lot of people can use it.
The name of the website is called Yapta. According to their website, “they track fluctuations in airline prices and notify you when a ticket that you have already purchased or are interested in buying drops in price so you can get the best deal.” They go on to say, “if you have already purchased the ticket and the price drops after you make that purchase, they will notify the airlines to compensate you in cash or travel vouchers.”
To me it sounded like a really neat idea and a very useful one. In today's tough economy, especially with airlines charging for checking bags and everything else, it is nice to see that you can still save some money on flying.
