Money Surgery

Dealing with creditors and cutting costs; getting out of debt.

Just like fat on one's body, interest rates can weigh you down. Besides the recent flop at the Super Bowl with my girl Janet, this is one way to make money. Have people pay for their wrong doings. I came home from church thinking that I was going to miss the half time show.

I'd seen bits and pieces of it. Janet did nothing wrong but, change the routine and the FCC and disgusted people who were there who seen the show are making a big deal out of nothing. What am I getting at? $27K the 20 affiliates are having to pay because of the incident. Now, don’t you wish you had that type of money just to throw away? That’s exactly what’s going on. Why should Janet get the short end of the stick just because a routine went haywire? That $27K could be used for something greater than making up for the embarrassment caused. If my mathematical skills are correct, that’s $540,000 all together. Do you KNOW what I can do with that kind of money? First of all, I’d take care of me. You know, the credit card bills? Then I’d concentrate on giving back to the community who really needs it. Not only did I not see Wilbert Brown of the Patriots play (he’s from my hometown just as Jeremiah Trotter is) he also got paid for not playing.

Cosmetic surgery to me is like the interest rates on the credit card. The more you put on, the harder it is to take off. So what is the solution to this situation? As I mentioned earlier, interest rates are like body fat so what needs to be done is to cut corners by cutting up the cards just like the doctors would cut into skin to get to the fat and get rid of it. I am an avid watcher of Discovery Health and I seen a 300 pound man going under the knife because he wanted a life change. As with credit cards, if you want to make a life change, take away the fat of the card. Call your creditors and ask if they could lower the interest so that it would be easier to pay monthly. And if we were all like the entertainers of the world, we wouldn’t have to worry about credit cards. And they still use them. I am 45 lbs overweight and my interest rate is half that much. Three credit cards and it would take a lifetime plus to pay them off unless I came into a sum of money to pay it off in one day. Wouldn’t that be nice?

Just like my weight, I decided to do something about my credit cards. I have good credit and I plan on keeping it that way. Now considering for those of you that are physically overweight, and you decided to have plastic surgery, how much do you think it will cost to get it done? For those of us who are financially overweight, how much of your life’s work would it take to get rid of the “fat” we call interest? Some are blessed to get a loan but, you have to realize that getting a loan would possibly put you further in debt as with dealing with consolidation companies which can also be a rip off. I had six cards and now I’m down to three because I decided for myself to try and stay healthy. You need at least a little bit of “fat” to survive the cold weather. (Use that “fat” only for emergencies.) It is up to you to choose which fat is good for you. This year, let us start by shaping up and lose that “fat” that’s weighing us down. This kind of surgery is definitely needed. Exercise your right to lose the “fat” Let us have surgery done!
