- Make every effort to pay more that the minimum required on your credit cards each month. Also, if you're paying anything above 9% in interests on any credit card, seek out other credit card companies where you may be able to transfer your current balance at 0% for the next 18 months. Always check the junk mails you receive daily; you just may find something good there.
- Certainly there are many ideas out there on saving money. However, the important thing to remember is we're all not the same. Some strategies that work for you may not work for me. However, always try to be optimistic and open minded; you never know where ideas on savings may come from.
- Believe it or not, sometimes shopping at Wal-Mart or Target may not be a bad idea; In fact, their brands usually eat well, fit well and are usually cheaper that supermarkets. A Wal-Mart or Target brand macaroni and cheese retails for approximately $0.44, while the ones at the supermarkets retails for $1.00. Do the math. We all want to save money. Don't you?
