1. Spend Less Than You Earn

   This might seem a bit obvious but it is a reality that people just simply spend more money than what they actually earn, meaning that they spending their savings and eventually will go bankrupt.

2. Walking

   You hear nowadays that Global Warming needs the support of people of not using their cars, why not help out and walk to work instead of spending money on the car.

3. DIY

   If you are looking on having a painting up in your front wall then why not paint it yourself, you will have the satisfaction and it could save you hundreds.

4. Take Holidays in Term

   Ok it is the traveller's knowledge that you are going to get cheaper prices when children are on holiday, so why not book your next holiday for the time when children are in schooling.

5. Closer to Home

   Why not take your holidays to inside the country? You don't have to learn a new language and you will still get the sense of not knowing the place, so instead of jetting to Spain, why not jet off to somewhere close?

6. Food For Cinema

   So you going out to see a movie don't buy the food and drink at the actual place, instead buy food from a local shop. It will be cheaper and you will be able to have more variety.

7. Make Your Own Lunches

   You can save loads if you make your lunch instead of buying it at work, the ingredients of making a sandwich at home will be less than buying a sandwich at work, so why not save a bit there?

8. Branding

   Ok then does it actually matter if you have the latest Nike jacket or the latest new cereal by Kellogs? No, so don't bother buying the goods that you can get for cheaper.

9. Don't Buy Books, Borrow Them

   Want that latest book? Well why not wait a few weeks and soon enough your library will have it, this way you save money by not buying books and instead borrowing them.

10. Don't Buy a New Car

    As soon as you spend thousands on that new car and you drive it out of the place its value drops by nearly half! So instead buy a used car, make sure though that it is going to be reliable and not break down on you.
