With wealth comes temptations that the average Joe doesn't usually even think of. On truTV there is a new show called Rich and Wreckless. What I have noticed throughout is that wealth all too often corrupts. While there are those few Good Samaritans that use their wealth for philanthropy, many others, especially in the U.S. are self-indulgent.
Remember these famed words "power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely"
Point being, whether you are a small fry entrepreneur or a veteran one, when it comes to financial matters, tread lightly. With success comes responsibility.
Have you ever wondered why in most households today there are so many financial difficulties?
There are a number of reasons for this, the first being a lack of leadership and restraint. There are many these days that are of the mindset "Put it on credit" when in fact credit cards will actually put you in debt quicker.
By the way, for those with a checkbook, do not think that just because you have checks that you have money. That is sometimes not the case so check before making any assumptions.
Use the finances you are blessed with wisely, don't squander anything.
