What do you do with your old socks? Don't throw them away, they might just come in useful. |
- Fill it with rice, or wheat and use as a heat pad. Heat for a couple of minutes in a microwave.
- Use to dust your PC and other awkward areas. Just slip your hand inside the sock, and dust.
- Make a sock puppet for a child.
 - Fill with catnip and make a toy for a cat.
- Push a tennis ball into the bottom and make a throw toy for a dog.
- Fill with stones to make a doorstop.
- Hide you jewellery in it.
- Fill with left over bits of soap and use in the washing machine for delicate fabrics.
- Fill with lavender from the garden and use to scent drawers and cupboards.
- Transport fine glasses safely. Put a glass into each sock and use to wrap it up. It will protect it during transit.
