  1. Add a small amount of instant vanilla pudding instead of sugar to stabilize whipping cream. It stabilizes and sweetens the cream at the same time.
  2. When mixing batter calls for stiffly beaten egg whites, beat the egg whites first and then use the same beaters to mix the rest of the batter before folding in the egg whites..
  3. To make lump free gravy, Pour some of the pan juices into a wide mouth jar with a screw top. Add flour, close the top and shake vigorously. Pour it back in the pan and continue to make your gravy.
  4. Spice up your frozen french fries, Buy fries that come in a reusable bag and sprinkle salt ,pepper, paprika and garlic powder directly in the bag and shake well. They will taste like fries served in your favorite restaurant.
  5. To get the price sticker off a new pan, spray on WD 40. Wait a few minutes and wipe off the sticker with a paper towel.
  6. To keep your counter top cool while rolling out pastry, Keep it chilled with home made ice packs.You can fill gallon plastic freezer bags half full of water and freeze flat.
  7. Cut your lettuce for salad with a plastic knife. A metal knife will cause the leaves to brown.
  8. Pick up single pieces of dinner wear at the flea market. They are perfect for gifts of food and they are inexpensive.
  9. Zap your garlic cloves in the micro oven for a few seconds. Let them cool and see how easy it is to slip off the skins.
  10. Store whole vanilla beans in a jar of vodka, bourbon or brandy.The liquor keeps them soft so they will scrape out easily, and the liquor makes a good vanilla flavoring.
  11. Stand your corn cobs up in an angel food cake pan. You can cut the corn off the cob easily.
  12. To keep plastic wrap from sticking to itself, store in the freezer.
  13. Put washed cookie cutters in a baking pan in the warm oven for a few minutes, even with the heat turned off the warmth will dry the cutters.
  14. After opening a can of tomato paste put whatever you don't need in a small freezer bag and freeze. After freezing you can break off as much as you need.
  15. When popping pan popped corn, Put three kernels of corn in the cold oil and turn up the heat, When you hear three pops, pour the rest of the corn in.
  16. After you juice a lemon ,turn it inside out and scrub your greasy pan with it. It will take the grease out and the pan will wash easily in soapy water.
  17. When separating coffee filters, blow over the top and they separate easily.
  18. If you happen to pour in to much salad dressing, Place salad in your salad spinner and it will remove the excess dressing.
