Five Surprising Uses for Toothpaste |
|
|

Why spend dozens or hundreds of dollars on specialized cleaners when you can just use... toothpaste! |
Quick-fix for pimples
Dab a bit of non-gel toothpaste on a whitehead over night. In the morning, the pimple should have decreased both in redness and size. Toothpaste absorbs oil and reduces small amounts of swelling.
Remove stains from skin
Rub a small amount of plain toothpaste onto the stain on your skin; rinse (and repeat, if necessary).
Make your hands smell great
Toothpaste deodorizes whatever you use it on, so it's great for your hands if they have picked up a scent from something you've been cooking or cleaning with.
Keep surfaces from fogging
Rub toothpaste onto a window, goggles, etc. and then wipe off before engaging in any steam-creating activity.
Polish jewelry
Instead of using expensive jewelry cleaner, use toothpaste to make your silver, gold, and diamonds as bright as your smile.
