Candle Wax in Your Carpet

It does not matter how long it's been there, or what color it is. This is the way to remove it without damage to your carpet.

Using an iron just pushes it through to the other side. Out of site out of mind, wrong. You can still feel the wax when your in your bare feet.

Items you will need

  • Lighter fluid
  • Fork
  • Some rags

Process

  1. Soak the wax stain with lighter fluid, while scrapping it with a fork.
  2. Use the rags (preferably clean) to soak up the lighter fluid, and the dissolved wax.
  3. Then wash the spot to get the smell of the lighter fluid out.

This truly does work. I've had to do it. My best friends husband has laid carpet for over 20 years for a well known department/ home improvement store.
