It was after careful consideration and study that I decided to become a stay at home mom, otherwise known as SAHM. Also known as a work at home mom, WAHM. In the world we live in today technology has advanced greatly making it easier for a woman to work from home. Starting your own business can be rewarding and even fun. With the world wide web you can promote your business in no time. There are many different kinds of income you can generate from your own personal computer.
Some examples include auction services,typing,search assistants,GPT(get paid to) programs,website designers,writers,tutors,legal services,blogging and the list goes on. What you do have to be careful with are the get rich schemes that really don't exist. These are the pay up front and you will make money type services. If someone is wanting money to show you how to make money then it's probably a scam. Don't fall for it. Search the Internet for other work at home moms that can help you along your journey.
Whether single or married, one thing to consider is what is best for my children. Before you know it they grow up and you could be missing some of the greatest years of their lives. They are only young once and I have found that there is no job that worth more than spending time with my children. From taking that first step to driving their first car. They need you there.
Learn the difference between wants and needs. You can survive on a lot less than you think. Do you really need 2 cars and the best of everything? It doesn't hurt to be frugal. A matter of fact it's kind of fun. It's amazing to see how much you can save by not going to work outside the home. Look at the cost of gas,childcare,eating out, housekeeper etc. This can be costly if you stop and think about it.
Living a simple life can be so much more rewarding for you and your family. Instead of the stress that can come with the job outside the home. A keeper at home brings a feeling of peace to the entire family. Let's face it, who does your child want to grow up with, the babysitter or mom?
