Trying to save money but still have to get gifts for grandma's birthday or your teenage daughter. Or maybe you have an over abundance of canning and jelly jars in the basement or in the garage. Well, here's 13 ways you can use those jars and save money.

  1. Dry Goods Canister And Countertop Storage

    If you bulk buy then this is perfect to keep your everyday dry goods nearby. Keep the quart size handy when cooking and baking and refill as needed from bulk storage.
  2. Giant Cocktail Glass

    You've seen it in the movies. People using jelly jars for drinking glasses- remember the television show ”In the heat of the night”…one of the deputies always drank sweet tea from an old clear glass jelly jar.
  3. Storing Personal Care Products

Great ideas. Never thought to use for decorative centerpice. the ideas are endless. You can change jars deisgn with the seasons.

No mention of actual Jam LoL!
We use these jars for everything including holding barrettes and pony tail holders for the kids.
You have to be careful using it as a piggy bank for young kids - my youngest knocked it off the table and broke it, cutting herself. She now has a plastic piggy bank. The older two still have jars though.
