Learn this towel folding technique in minutes - all your towels will be folded the same size, no labels showing and no edges showing. You will not want to hide towels in cupboards, you will want to show off your fluffy bathroom towels – in the bathroom.
Find a flat surface large enough to fold your towels. The bed, a counter or a table will suffice.
Lay the Towel on the surface, rough side up/label side up, looking at it length ways, so the longest sides are top and bottom - imagine there is a horizontal line going across the middle of the Towel = centre.
Fold 1 - Take towel edges closest to you in both hands, and fold this section away from you, half way to the centre.
Fold 2 - Take towel edges farthest from you in both hands, and fold this section towards you again halfway, to the centre to meet the other side.
Even out sides, so that they are equal with a gap of about 1mm between each edge - now imagine that here is a vertical line going from top to bottom of the towel = centre.
Fold 3 - With your left hand, fold the left portion of the towel to the centre, halfway from left to right.
Fold 4 - With your right hand, fold the right portion of the towel to the centre, halfway from right to left.
Even out sides, so that they are equal with a gap of about 1mm between each edge.
Finally, Fold 5 - where the two towel edges meet = centre, fold one side on top of the other, as equally as possible.
There you are - a perfectly folded towel. Place your towels on your shelf with the double fold facing away and the single fold facing out. If you have a range of towels in a different matching color palette, this is an excellent way of showing them off.
