Most people use fridge magnets to hold up vouchers, their kids' drawings, or maybe a reminder about what they need to buy the next time they go shopping.
But you can turn your boring old fridge into the magnetic version of a photo album, if you use funky fridge magnets to record the places and locations you've visited over the years.
Fridge magnets are a popular souvenir item to buy when you're on holiday, and over time a fridge magnet collection can grow to cover your entire fridge.
Our fridge has magnets from Chamonix, France in 1999; a Millennium magnet from Disneyland; a magnet to commemorate our white knuckle log flume ride in Essex, England; another one to mark the Athens Olympics (we didn't see them, but we did stop off in Athens on our way to Greece a few days before they began); and countless others from places, countries and holidays we've enjoyed over the years.
So if you still think fridge magnets are boring, you might want to reconsider. There's nothing better than being reminded of wonderful experiences every time you hit the fridge for a beer.
