Nine Things You May Not Know About Bleach

Everyone knows the basics: you use bleach to get stains out of your white clothes.

I encourage you to try these mixtures but be careful. I hope you enjoy the interesting facts about bleach

  1. If you own a humidifier add a few drops to the water gallon of the water you put in it and it will serve as a great bacteria killer.
  2. Take away any lingering smells in containers by wiping them out with watered down chlorine bleach.
  3. Apply bleach to bath and shower base to take away mold and mildew. Then you must rinse it well.
  4. If you have been affected by poison ivy or poison oak. You may use a small amount of bleach and wipe it across the affected area to dry up the poison ivy. It works in some cases and others it does not.
  5. If you want to take the grey look away from your wooden fence spray bleach on it and the wood color should return instantly.
  6. To cure smelly feet soak them in hot water made of 1 part bleach and 3 parts water. Soak 10 minutes then dry thoroughly with blow dryer for two nights.
  7. To get rid of a soar throat gargle and entire glass of warm water with 2 or 3 drops of bleach.
  8. To keep a flower vase free of slime and stagnant water add a few drops of bleach; it wont harm the flowers.
  9. Kind of an innovative way to stop smoking but most people who try this method say it works. Put a drop or two of bleach on the palms of your hands and light up a cigarette. The combination of bleach and smoke will make a smell so horrible you will never want to light up again.

Be careful on that bleach/poison ivy thing. I ended up in the hospital doing that, and they said I had some type of poisoning from the bleach. I might have made the solution too strong, but just to let you know, you\'re potentially playing with a problem if you don\'t \'get it right\'.
