Perhaps you have found yourself with an overabundance of lemons. Maybe you are looking for a cheap way to be eco-friendly. Either way, this article can help you. |
- Odor Neutralizer: Place a few lemon slices in a pan of boiling water this will help neutralize odors around the house.
- Liver Spot Remover: Lemon juice gradually bleaches the skin. Using a cotton ball dab lemon juice over freckles, age and liver spots to fade them. Make sure to moisturize afterward though as the juice will also dry out your skin.
- Light Hold Hair Spray: Dilute the juice of one lemon with one cup of water, strain and pour into a pump spray bottle. Keep in mind that this has the same bleaching and drying properties on your hair as it does on your skin.
- Sweat Stain Remover: Lemon juice can be used as a milder and less toxic bleach and it has de-greasing properties. Just spritz or dab some on the sweat stain and wash as normal. (I do not recommend using with bright or dark colors.)
- Garbage Disposal Freshener: Drop a few slices of lemon in garbage disposal every time you use it to dispel odors. (Use hot water while grinding lemons to get the full effect.)
