If you have ink stains on your clothing or carpet, don't get frustrated easily. Just follow some simple but in-depth ink stain removal and cleaning tips from me.
Removing ink stains from your clothing
You can choose any one of these cleaning tips:
- Rub some lime (which is already cut into halves) on the part of clothes that have ink stains on. Then, wash the clothes as usual.
- Spray your ink stains with hair spray before washing as usual.
- Soak the part that has ink stains on in some milk. This has to be done immediately after the ink stains get onto your clothes.
- Rub a raw potato (which is already cut into halves) repeatedly on the ink stains. Do this repeatedly until the potato absorbs the stains. Then, rub the same part with a wet sponge.
- Apply a little glue thinner on the ink stains. Leave it for a while. Then, wash your clothes as usual.
Removing ink stains from your carpet
You can select any one of these cleaning tips:
- Mix three spoons of baking soda in a glass of warm water. Pour the mixture on the ink stains on the carpet. Then, cover the affected part with a few pieces of clean cloth. Wait for a while until it dries up. Next, you will see that the ink stains are gone.
- Ink stains from a ball point pen can be cleaned up by spraying hair spray on the affected part. Leave the part until it dries up. Then, brush it softly with a mixture of water and vinegar.
- Scatter some salt on the affected part of the carpet. The salt will absorb the ink stains. Then, wipe off the salt. Do this repeatedly until all stains are absorbed and wiped off. After that, use a clean cloth to do the final wiping off. This whole process has to be done immediately after the ink stains get onto your carpet.
