Simple Storage Solutions for Every Room of Your House

We all wish e had a little bit more organization in our lives. Here are some helpful tips for every room in the house.

 

Kitchen

  • Use a spice rack instead of storing space in a box or on a shelf this make them easier to grab when needed too.
  • Use an organizer to sort pots and pans in you cabinets. Rubbermaid has a great sliding one.
    Desks Offices and Drawers
  • Use small store containers to store rubber bands, paper clips, pens and pencils.
  • Buy dividers for drawers to sort things from small tools or papers and smaller objects.
  • Hanging colored or steel clipboards on the walls give you a unique place to post memos. You can also drill a hook to the bottom of the clip board and use it to hang your purse or other small items from.
  • You can take a cork bored and buy some cheap wall paper and adhere it over the cork and use it for memos, notes and pictures.
  • You can use baskets to organize shelves and drawers as well, along with boxes too.

Bedroom and Closets

  • Many store such as Wal-Mart offer entire closet organizational systems from shelves to draws and even shoe racks. You can customize what you need and this helps maximize closet storage.
  • Looking for more room in you dresser? Plastic dividers and canvas boxes are great for setting up designated space for each clothing item. You can keep under garments on one side of a draw and socks on the other side.
  • They also have special hangers with a few rows on them that are great for storing belts, ties, scarf's, and more.
  • Optimize space by adding storage to the back of the closet door. You can add a shoe organizer or hooks for commonly used jackets and more.

Bathroom

  • There are some great rolling carts that can fit under a sink or in an unused corner of a bathroom to store towels, sponges, and bath essentials on.
  • Home Depot and Lowes have some great wood colored and white open and closed storage shelves. They fit in small spaces and hold towels, toilets paper and more!
  • Use baskets to organize towels in the bathroom closet.
  • Find a hamper that fits under shelves in the bottom of your bathroom closet, or under the sink to save space.
  • Add some shelves in the shower to store shampoo, razors, body wash and more. They have small ones that fit in the corner or hanging storage to hang on the showerhead.
