Compound Walls From Feng Shui Perspective

Feng Shui is a system based on keen observation and experimentation, combining elements of nature and nutrition. It is the study of the environment, places, people, time, and how the energies of each interact.

Compound walls are important as borders and they constantly remind one of the shapes of the plot, thus reinforcing it.

Compound walls on the rear can be higher as this will aid in the retention of energy. This is like a mountain on the rear side.

Compound walls are create to hold the energy with in. They should be in excellent condition. The walls should not warp or crack. These signify leaking energies.

The walls prevent intermixing of energies with the neighbors or the environment.

Fences are also considered borders, but are not as effective as walls. They have large gaps which are not conducive for holding back the energy.

A waist high compound wall is the best to prevent the bad and allow the good. Any wall lower than that is not effective.

The compound wall should not too high; it would remind a person of prison walls. The border should not be too close to the house. It will cause a suffocation of energy.
