My home is my happy place and although I like my job, well…let us just say, "there"s no place like home."
Over the years, I have tried to find the perfect work from home job, you know, the one that generates a fantastic income whilst I sit in my pyjamas and enjoy my coffee in peace. I could work as many or as few hours as I like and still earn a lot of money.
This is a wonderful fantasy. I found out several important things in my quest for this utopia of employment.
- It cost money to “work” for some of these “companies”. A legitimate company that requires your services, will not charge you to work for them. THEY WILL PAY YOU.
- You will spend more money than you will ever make when you trust these "sham" companies. - Sending away for "start up kits is a farce a good company can surely afford to start you up on a consignment basis.
- When you get an e-mail that sounds too good to resist, you really need to resist it. - Anything that promises you all kinds of cash for only a bit of work (after you pay them of course), is a lie. It takes time and hard work to create an income from home.
- If they send you those "act now', "limited time" or "time sensitive" type e-mails, file them under junk because that is what they are. It is just a method of making you give them money before you have any time to really think about it.
If these methods of earning a living really worked, you and I would not be bombarded by all these e-mails, surely everybody would already be doing it.
I will admit that there are some legit companies that can be found on the net that will assist you in your endeavour to make money from home, but, you have to be willing to do the work and sometimes put in long hours in the beginning. They cost you nothing to join and are relatively simple enough for anyone to do.
The average amount of time it has taken me to generate income has been 1 - 3 months. Sorry I cannot tell you it was faster, for some I'm sure it is and for others maybe longer. If I hadn't wasted so much time and money on scams it may have been sooner for me.
So use the benefit of my mistakes, and save your time, save your hard earned cash. If you are promised tons of $$$ for little or no work, and only a “small fee” - turn around and walk away. These things almost never work and besides, your services are worth them paying for you. Not the other way around.
Don't get scammed.
