Internet Home-Based Business: How I Was Sucked Into It

A series of my personal intrepid journey into the realm of the Internet Business World. Here I will document the Failures and Success, as well as the Dos and Donts of Internet Business.

At the tender age of 12 I began part time work; and by the age of 16 I was working full time.

However; my interest in business and Investing did not start when I began working, it started long before. From what I can remember I have always been very business minded.

For example; Every weekend I would collect the wild fruit and vegetables from our back yard, as well as any other objects that I had horded to sell.

I would then march around the family property posting my handmade signs in every foreseeable corner, whilst screaming "For Sale" chants at the top of my lungs.Once this was achieved, I would dress up in a costume that demanded full attention and proceed to stand my stall all day ,whilst continuing to yell and sing about what I had for sale, well, until I was hawse; then I would bargain with my younger sister to take over with the vocal neighbourhood harassment.

The poor neighbours were subjected to my horrid activity every weekend from dawn till dusk.

Might I add, that the most unfortunate thing about this entire religiously practised activity, was that we lived in a rural area. So it was an absolute miracle if a car or passer by would actually stop…. (there were may passer bys that crossed to the other side of the road in an effort to maintain their sanity.)

Much to my delight the stoppers would occasionally buy some of my treasured junk; but I now suspect that this was simply out of pity or a sheer attempt in pleading with me to "shut up"!

To this day I have no regrets about disgracing myself in doing this. I learnt a lot; however; I do feel sorry for my poor Mother as her prized ornaments were regularly "misplaced" and or sold at bargain price! Te he hee!

By the late "preteen" stage of life I had acquired a little more knowledge and begun working for some real money as a waitress

Once I got into my late "teens", I clued up even more and I began investing in Art and Real Estate; and so far I have been very successful in everything that I have put my mind too.

Now that I am older and wiser about such things, thanks to my mentors; I have taken a risk and am expanding myself into new investing avenues such as: Internet/ Online/ Home Based Business (whatever it is you want to call it!)

And what have I concluded about such options?

Well, like all investing avenues, fruition is never guaranteed and all investments painfully take time! But if you commit yourself 100% to what is required to succeed and follow the advice of those that have gone before you; then you are surely bound to succeed with out a doubt!

Well, it takes time, research and it takes effort - And in all honesty who likes the monotonous aspects of work….. No one, and if you say you do, then your lying!

BUT this is the real world and unfortunately I have to get a grip on it and WORK like everybody else.

So as a result I have subjected myself to something that is of interest to me and potentially profitable too, and slowly but surely I am positively positive that it will be worth all the torture of the current uncertainty that it beholds.
