Goals are Necessary (part 16)

This is part 15 in my series on goals. These can be used in anything from affiliate marketing to real life romance.

Don't Ask Anybody To Do Anything You Wouldn't Do

It is so important that you understand every aspect of your job or whatever it is that you are doing. The only truly way you are going to understand all the aspects is to live all of them. What I mean here is that I don't care if you go out and buy a coffee shop today. Yes that makes you the boss but do you know how this shop operates? So if you don't wash the floors and clean the toilets once in a while how are you going to relate to your employees? And trust me if your employees see you involving yourself in the dirtier tasks that going to do a wonder for staff retention and respect towards yourself.

Work Harder Then Others

Just when you thing you have given everything you have to give and you are done. That is the time to put in that little bit more. This is what's going to excel you above the rest of the people doing what you are. Some days it's just going to be impossible to be at 100 percent but don't worry about it. As long as you know you are doing your very best then things will be fine. However if you know you can do more and you decide not to then you are only cheating yourself. In my affiliate marketing gig, my blogging gig and my writing gig I am totally exhausted at the end of the day but at ten at night if I feel like I can go until eleven I don't procrastinate I just keep going. An hour lost is an hour you can never get back.

Work All Night

I love what I am doing so much that I eat, dream and sleep affiliate marketing. What I mean by this is that when it is bed time you are going to have to clear your mind of the day's activities and prepare yourself for the night. When I go to bed I usually think about two or three things that are cropping up in my mind. Kind of like new ideas for marketing or something like that. So now my subconscious takes over while I am sleeping and quite often when I wake up in the morning I have some wonderful ideas brewing.

See What You Want

All over my office I have pictures of other successful affiliate marketers. Why do I have these? Because they give me inspiration and they paint a picture of whom I want to be like. Maybe you want to lose weight. Put pictures up where you work out. Put pictures of yourself now and try and find some before skinny ones. If you don't have those then find pictures of girls you want to look like.

Try And Keep Things Equal .

I spend just as much time with my affiliate marketing as I do with my writing and my blogging. They are all equal to me in importance so I don't want to leave any of them behind. If I were two go a couple of weeks without updating my blogs then I would be wrecking it for those who enjoy reading my blogs. That goes the same for my writing and affiliate marketing. Could you imagine how I would be letting my customers down if I had nothing to do with them for a couple weeks. I know I get anxious when my mentor doesn't email me every two days. I go into panic mode almost. These things are important.

Okay you have now read the fifteenth issue of my series on goals. We over halfway done but there are still more to come. I practice each and every one of these. Oh sure sometimes I have to adjust them a bit but let me tell you they have made my writing and affiliate marketing a whole lot more successful.
