I just want to say thank you to everybody who is taking the time to read this series. I love reading the responses and I am glad that everyone is enjoying it. I would like to remind everyone to get their friends and family to have a look. Remember I use these for affiliate marketing but I also use a lot of them in real life. I plan on making these into an e-book eventually so use them while they are free.
Get Some Help
This is your business and you are the boss but as you get bigger and busier you might start to realize that you can't do it all yourself. You might have to hire someone or if it's a personal issue you might have to get your friends and family to help you. Remember you can listen to advice but you didn't get into this position by making stupid decisions so you have to delegate the duties to the people that are helping you. Be a leader.
Solve Your issues
You are going to have problems throughout the things you are doing. If its affiliate marketing you might need to find more customers if it's a lose weight issue you might not be able to get the meal you want at your favorite restaurant. Don't dwell on these problems but rather deal with them. If you let them get to you then they are going to bring you down and cause problems. I remember once I was getting insurance quotes. They were all close but I took my time thus resulting in my existing insurance expiring. Now I had to get a whole new policy which cost me more. So by dwelling and not taking care of the problem I created more problems.
Watch Your Direction
You have to always keep a close watch on the trends of today and tomorrow. Stay away from yesterdays trends. They may come back but it will be some time. Changing trends might force you to change your direction thus making you adjust your goals. This is perfectly acceptable as long as you are moving forward.
Make Sure People Feel Safe
If you are offering a product like I do with affiliate marketing make your customers feel comfortable by offering them a guarantee. This assures them their money back if for some reason this wasn't what they were looking for. It also offers them some assurance that you are a reputable person. Trust me this will help your sales in the future.
Keep Smiling
No matter what you are doing you have to believe in it and yourself. You have to be excited about what you are doing. I know if your goal is to lose weight then sometimes it's going to be pretty hard to be excited. How you get past this is think about the finished product. Go back to what you were like in high school and remember how you liked yourself then. I can't wait to get up in the morning and get to work on my affiliate marketing because it just gets more and more exciting everyday I work at it because for the most part I see success.
Okay you have now read the fourteenth issue of my series on goals. We over halfway done but there are still more to come. I practice each and every one of these. Oh sure sometimes I have to adjust them a bit but let me tell you they have made my writing and affiliate marketing a whole lot more successful.
