Hurry, hurry, hurry. That's what I am hearing. People are emailing me and asking me to get my next excerpt out. I really appreciate the enthusiasm but you have to remember this is only a small portion of what I do on the internet. Between my affiliate marketing, adsense, click bank, articles, blogging and writing short stories I still have a full time job. But anyways here I go on the next one.
Write Down Everything
I don't care where you are or what you are doing you have to write a lot of notes. If you're at a seminar, training session or anyplace that you might be learning something. Note taking is a skill in itself. You have to learn to not write everything that you hear but rather only the important stuff you are hearing. There is a difference between relevant and important because everything is pretty much relevant sooner or later in your business.
Be Heard
Go to seminars. Go to training sessions. However don't just go there to listen. Make sure you participate. Be heard. Ask lots of question. Not only will this help you to find answers but it will also help you attain public speaking skills. Also if you're participating it's a lot easier to remember what went on rather than just listening.
This Isn't A Joke
I am telling you right now that these are all serious issues. I take my writing and affiliate marketing very seriously and for that I am rewarded by being successful. I don't care if it's loosing weight, or working at a hamburger stand. No matter what you have to take it seriously. Now in saying that you can have some play time but just make sure you schedule it properly. Especially if you're just starting out. Make your company successful and then play when you're maintaining your success.
You Have To Take Time To Learn
Make sure you take time to learn what's new in your industry. Maybe you are a welder. Well you should take time to learn about the new equipment that's out there and how it can make your business better. Make sure you read up on new trends. Hell you might even want to spend a day at another shop just seeing some of the small stuff that maybe they do better that you could implement into your business. If you're trying to lose weight then talk to others who are trying to lose weight and see what they are doing different. I have a mentor in my affiliate marketing business who I email every second day or so. Mostly just to let him know how my business is going and to get new ideas. The kicker on this is this guy has nothing to do with my business. He never makes a cent off me but he always helps me to become better at what I am doing.
Use Your Learning's .
Its one thing to learn new things but its another to apply these things. There is no use taking time to learn them if your only going to put them on the back burner. When ever I learn something new I try it almost immediately. Not everything works for my business but at least I find out quickly and then I don't have to waste any more time on it.
