There are many people out there that have decided to produce their own work at home. They decide to put the efforts in placing some free ads along with a few that they actually pay for. There are numerous websites that are developed as well. These people will advertise that they are looking for employees to work at home. Many will not tell you what the job is exactly until you contact them usually by email. Two that I recall off-hand are jewelry makers and envelope stuffers that seemed to be popular offers to those that wanted to stay home and work.
There was and still is a problem with many of these types of jobs. They are not legitimate. Most advertisements for work at home tend to be from individuals that advertise, receive a response and then require you to send them money in order for you to get started making jewelry or stuffing envelopes for example.
If you check out these ads or websites you will realize they lack a lot of detailed information. They are very vague on what they are all about. There is no real opportunity to actually make any money even if they were legitimate. The work at home will never be simple or easy. The information on their websites will typically be out dated information.
Beware if you end up clicking on links on these websites since they will typically redirect you to other websites that ask for money before you can get started. You will also need to look for the fact that there is no way to contact these individuals other than through mail or email. They will never respond to emails if it is a question regarding their legitimacy. They will never offer detailed information regardless if you are interested in signing up. And you will never receive any money for anything.
The process usually is that you get an email or see a website that says something about working at home and make lots of money. You click on the email and it takes you to a website that explains in vague information how much money you could make. Then they ask if you are interested in making a lot of money then click on this link that will take you to another website. This is where you find out the truth. Many people still do this and I don't know why. They will explain to you in order to receive a pamphlet of ways to make money at home you must send anywhere $15 to $30. In some cases you will actually receive a book with information of companies that offer you work at home. However, before you even get that far you are already several dollars short. If you contact the people listed in the book you might be lucky that a couple are available.
In other words, many of these companies are gone or stopped doing this sort of thing which should raise another red flag. If you actually are able to reach someone at any of the companies listed then you will find out you will have to send more money for the products. Once you finish working on making jewelry for instance then it is up to you to get it back to the company. From there, they will decide if the jewelry is good enough to pay you for. Most of the time the jewelry is not good enough and they tell you, you will have to do better in order to get any money. If you actually decide to make some more jewelry and send it in you will probably receive very little money if any at all.
Finding work at home is almost impossible these days. Unless you are one of these people that are offering an outdated book filled with false hope to unsuspected individuals. I guess you can call that work. These people are running their own business and outsourcing to those that are looking for work. They make money feeding off others and helping other companies mislead and use individuals that are legitimately trying to work.
