Fall is the best time to plant the grass seeds in any area. It is because the soil will be warm in that time. The temperatures in daytime too are moderate in the fall. This makes the watering a small problem. You don't need to water the soil often to ensure the supply of water to the seeds. Since the temperatures are moderate in the fall, there won't be much evaporation of the water you supply to the soil.
When you are planting the seeds, apply the first dosage of fertilizer at the time of sowing. You have to add more fertilizer after four weeks as the fertilizer you earlier applied will be washed out by the water you supply.
You can thus decide in which season you have to plant the grass seeds and can sow them in your garden too. Even if you sow them in correct season, they don't grow perfectly until you give enough time to water the soil and later the grass and taking care of the grass.
