Are your trees plagued by Canker Worms? Do you want to save money? I am about to tell you the cold, hard fact that will save you money, get rid of your problem, and what tree services doesn't want you to know.
Now, how do I know this? My father has owned an honest tree service for over thirty years. I know many tree arborist and they all tell me the same thing. Many tree services will tell you Canker Worms will kill your tree. They will charge you a large price in order to “save your tree.” They will charge extra prices to use “special sprays.” They will even go as far to say, “the tree is to bad gone, it needs to come down.”
First off, Canker Worms will not kill your tree. They eat the leafs off your tree, well, I guess that could be less raking? However, it is true, they will make a tree look bad, but it will not kill it. Do you need a special spray to get rid of Canker Worms? The answer is NO! How do you get rid of them? You can have a tree service come out. Regardless of what they tell you. Make them just cut the nest from the tree.
A tree service should have the equipment to cut the nest from the tree, without taking large limbs, such as, bucket trucks, expandable cutting tools and so on. Another way to get rid of the worms are as simple as this. You could poke a hole in the nest and the birds will eat them.
