Soil:
Nepenthes can do well in any well drained airy soil, such as 2:1:1 sphagnum moss, peat, orchid bark, or 1:1:1:1 peat, perlite, orchid bark, sphagnum moss
Watering:
Never let the soil dry out, and never let the soil be waterlogged either.
Light:
When young, 45-50% sun is perfect, anymore sun will burn them. The older they get, the more sun they can handle.
Environment:
All nepenthes are completely tropical in nature, the only difference is elevation. Lowland neps (short for nepenthes) are true jungle plants, with days in the high 80's to low 90's at 80-100% humidity. Highland neps are humid mountain plants, with days in the 70's at 60-90% and a drop in temperature at night, usually about 5-15 degrees along with a rise in humidity
Cultivation:
Although they sound difficult to grow, most neps we sell are actually quite easy to grow. The more common (N. alata, ventricosa, khasiana,) highland plants can be grown on windowsills, and lowland varieties do well in terrariums of some sort. Always try to keep the humidity high for the best plants/pitchers.
