Clothes
Do not wash all your dirty clothes on the weekend. If you do this you will have a huge pile of clothes to wash on the weekend.
Try to wash your clothes daily/twice/three times during the working week.
During the weekend iron all the clothes needed for the following week.
This way you can lay out the outfits that you and the family will wear thus reducing the "what will I wear "angst in the morning.
Organize the closets and drawers so it is easy for the family to retrieve the items they need.
Food
Work out a meal plan for the week/fortnight/month this will enable you to organize your shopping trips accordingly.
Clean, peel and chop up vegetables. Store them in clear containers and store them in the fridge.
This will reduce the amount of time you take to prepare and cook meals.
Cook and freeze meals/parts of meals when you have free time.
Other Tasks
Set the breakfast table the night before
Get the kids to pack their school bags the night before to reduce any last minute running around the next morning.
Use the internet and phone banking to pay your bills.
