Children have a world of their own and that they need your understanding to be able to communicate with them in a way that they could fully comprehend you. Sometimes you find your child in his worst mood and end up berating him and feeling so disappointed blaming yourself for not properly bringing up the child in the right manner.
But fear not for children are sometimes in their worst mood that they could do or say things that you yourself couldn't accept. As the child grows he learns things from his environment and that it is not only from home that they learn. Sometimes, children do what their peers do and sometimes they want to be like their friends. But if the child is guided well, there would be no problem.
Parents must always find out what kind of friends your child is going with to be able to assess your child earlier. Knowing the people around your child will help determine if what your child is learning is beneficial to his growing years or harmful. If you see changes in your child's behavior that needs to be curtailed do so in the most appropriate manner and time.
The influence of the environment has a bigger share of the child's growth and development than the genes he has inherited. Parents and guardians are therefore advised to keep a close monitor of the whereabouts of their children. By doing what is appropriate, the child would be kept away from bad influences of their peers.
You cannot choose your child's friends but teaching him to go with the right people and do what is right is what will keep your child safe from going into bad vices. As much as possible teach your child as early as he could comprehend words the value of morals. Children who are taught the good values early in life are those children that grow up as worthy people.
