What do we do with a child that will not conform to civilized living?
Perhaps my words are abstract but there is meaning behind it.
We have a 14 year old girl that wants to be an adult.
Her behavior is out in evil land, she refuses to do school work or home work, and she is failing and is planning to drop out of school, even though she can't until she Graduates High school. She says she just won't go and no one can make her.
She is steeling, and smoking, she refuses to clean her room or take a bath.
The school has provided her with a counselor but she won't go to see them. She has been to see a regular counselor and put on medication, she refuse to take her medication, we have forced it down her throat but fighting with her is just getting old, When she went to see the counselor she refused to talk she just cried and told others she was afraid of the counselor.
She is very rebellious against her father cutting up his picture, steeling thing from him and cursing him. Her father tries to provide a home for her, she doesn't care, her mother can not be found, it has been a year since anyone herd from her. The police tell us we can't do anything but put her in the court system, but she swears she will runaway first.
Where do we go with this?
