The purity of the "Holy Sacrament of Marriage" has been tossed by the wayside for a chance to have many lives with the opposite sex. The people the general population looks up to, also known as celebrities are making divorce a usual aspect of life. So who is getting the divorce this week? Even the tabloids have made rumors of divorce very audible. So if we are looking up to these people; then we ourselves take part of them onto ourselves.
Even though "set marriages" of the past was not a happy thing for all the parties involved, the marriage lasted. A lot of couples still have their weddings in a religious ceremony, but as soon as trouble arrives they run to the civil courts for a divorce. Nobody considers annulment, which actually declares a marriage “null.”
