Teenagers are their own element. This thing about adolescents is really not overrated. I can remember being a teenager and feeling as if no one understood me. Teenager hood is the time of feeling alone and misunderstood. It's the squeamish time of attempting to find one's self in this world of fast paced thoughts and dreams. It is even more difficult today than it was for me years ago as a teenager. There was much less out there in regard to peer pressure.
Peer pressure is the worst creation on earth. I keep saying to myself if God had only created butterflies and humming birds, and forgot the bees; the world would be a lot prettier and no one would get stung. The deal is this there are always challenges with the teenager. No matter how small the situation may seem to us as adults; this may not be the case with the teenager. The teenager needs our patience and understanding; so he or she can develop into the responsible adult as we have become later on in our lives.
