Stay at home mothers are so under value and appreciated. People make you fell like you do not contribute to the world. That your lazy and you have nothing to offer. When in fact you have plenty to offer. Taking care of small children is hard work whether you have one or six. The more children you have the more you have to manage and organize to make sure every one have what they need physical and emotional.
A good stay at home mom is all ways moving. They have to cook three times a day and at less two snacks in between. If your kid can eat, that means that you have to spend more time in the kitchen. Not to count, the three time your in the kitchen just to wash dishes. A mom can not forget to sweep and mop the floor because the child wasted a glass of milk and a big bowl of red spaghetti sauces all over the floor. Just to add to the real life situation, you have to vacuum the carpet because the older child got down from the kitchen table with garlic toast in their hand and crumbled it all over the floor. When that is said and done you have to start the laundry. A mother is lucky if she only have to wash once a week. Then it's off too each room to clean up and making the beds. The rooms only stay clean for five minutes before the children come in and pull out every toy they can find to play with. That is only the housework.
One would have to think, a mother cares about the way their child look and smell. A kid need clean clothes on every day. As a loving mom, you cannot let your child walk around all day with a shirt on that has a three day old chocolate milk stain on it. Also the children do need their hair comb, but that does not mean they want their hair combed. If you have a screamer, that is the worst. They can really pierce your ear. Most important they have to brush their teeth. The worst thing is you have to teach a two year old how to spit. Once they get the concept they spit on every thing and everybody. Bathing is a must, they play hard and get nice an sweaty. They are all sticky from the ice cream they had for snack. I'm lucky if I see a bath every other day.
Then not to mention the emotional stress can be overwhelming especially when you have children under five. Sometimes it can feel like they can cry all day about any thing from that's my toy, it's my turn, I don't what that , can I wear this. A mother all ways have to be a referee, to keep the situation under control. Making sure all sides are heard and understood is a mothers job.
A stay at home mom can be the most hardest job a person can have. A mother wears five different hats at a time. It can be hard to sort it all out. When you are taking care of everyone else, do not forget about your physical and emotional needs too.
