Six Time Consuming Things to Do on a Rainy Day

As we sit and think, there's absolutely nothing to do on these rainy days, why not do something out of the ordinary to pass the time by instead?

The following random activities are some creative ways to do just that for anyone and everyone. From past experience, I must admit, doing most of these activities with other people can make it one hundred times more fun.

Finger Painting

This activity brings back those memories as a kid and you get to show your creative side. Even if you're accustomed to having everything perfect, it's okay to give someone blue hair.

Watching Home Movies

My best friend and I sat down not too long ago to watch movies of us as kids. They were hilarious. We also came to the realization that some of those dorky qualities we used to have, have never left us. We just made them cooler of the years. *If you don't have any home movies, why not make some? They'll pass the time by and you'll be able to reminisce on another rainy day. So why not kill to birds with one stone?

Coloring

Personally, I dig those coloring books with the bigger pictures so I don't have to still be afraid of coloring outside of the lines. This task, too, shows your creative side.

Sudoku

This lovely number game can fulfill your time easily. It's hard to figure out every blank square successfully in only five minutes. Therefore, time will pass by quickly with this also.

Take Pictures

Getting all dolled up or just taking silly pictures for sites like MySpace seems really stupid, but like the other activities, your mind is too focused on something to let the words, “I'm bored” exit your mouth. *If you're not into those social networking sites, it's still fun to take pictures. Pictures are just one version of memorable moments.

Activities You Used To Do As a Kid

Introduce new things to your best friends or you own kids. It's a sure way to bring back fun memories and let out another version of your child-like side.
