When it comes to raising kids we can use all the help we can get. The world is constantly changing and so should our approach to raising kids. Here are nine incredible tips for raising capable, confident, and fearless children.

  1. Don't kill your child's spirit. If you catch yourself being critical or harsh stop and correct it immediately. Praise your child for what they did do right.
  2. Don't let your kids be afraid of failing. Teach them that it doesn't matter as long as they keep trying.
  3. Respect your child as a person. Make sure when you discipline your child you do not put them down or make cruel remarks. Control your temper.
  4. Spend as much time as you possible can with your children. It builds trust, social connection, and self-esteem.
  5. Nurture your child's curiosity. Create a strong passion for learning.
  6. Instill in your child a sense of internal discipline
  7. Never make your child feel any organ is bad or evil. Addressing issues of sex right away is the best method.
  8. Be a good example to your child. If you do not want them to curse, smoke, disrespect people make sure you're not doing any of that. Your children learn their values from you.
  9. Pay attention to them. Listen to your kids. Talk to them, not at them.

I love to see articles with a reference to what we should do. It is so easy to point out what others do wrong but it takes thought on helping others do it right.

I really like it.These tips are really helpful.Sometimes we have hard times as parents but that doesn't mean we can give the children a hard time.Thanks for sharing.
