I was typing a paper for my daughter class project and as I was typing, I was reading it, I notice she was writing a poem about me... (her mother). Tears started to flow because I didn't realize how much I had a big impact on her life and how she think I am so gentle. She feels that I have patient for all children because she watch me work from home as a daycare provider and I also take in unfortunately children in our home. It also made me sad because her poem indicated that she couldn't live without me. She said...I manage to keep life going smoothly after her father left without a word, after having him in her life for ten years. How I made it seem everything will be alright and things didn't change much, only that her mother just spend more time with her and her brother with family time .How she would have been lost in the source because she was really close to her father who she didn't see in five years and how I manage to make her feel no negative feeling towards her father. And made her life at ease. She also said...That I am with her every step of the way when she needs me.
I went to my daughter and told her being a mother is not a job, It is a pleasure to be her mother. She gave me hope when she was born. So I feel like I am the lucky one. She was my miracle child, because I was told I couldn't have children and my son was my slavery.
If anyone was to ask me what is my purpose? To give my children the best and unconditional love and the word of God. Most parents forget that they were children or teenagers. Most parents feel that kids don't have problems, but they do. It may not be adult problems! So I understand how they feel because I remember when I was a child. Our problem as children is a lot to deal with these days.
My daughter is a beautiful,smart,good and respect my wishes. I try not to be to hard and understand what she is going through.
My daughter and son are very good children and today they made me feel like I am the most beautiful person in the world. My son is 10 years old and he said he love me because the person that I am. He says remember mom you said that you can love someone but you don't have to like them. I will never feel that way about you. He says I love you because you are my mom and because of the person you are. Wow I feel like I am on top of the world.
My daughter says...Remember you always says How beautiful I am...thats because I came from you. I may look like my father but I am you. Wow again!!!!
People please make your children your life. Think how you felt when you was a kid. Had no one to talk to, but your friends. Then after you tell your friends your business everyone knows. Be your kids parents but their friend too.
I can keep on typing and share a whole lot of stuff. The one thing I do. We have family time and family meetings. To express our feels the past week.
