Being a baby boomer and brought up in the 50?sI was instilled with many ideas from my parents. We were taught men and women bring up a family each had there own responsibility . A women was to raise there children while the man went to work to support them. Times have changed the teachings of my parents do not fit into today?s world. Women no longer stay home they work and have jobs just as important as men do. What was instilled in me as I was growing up about family life, still exists in me.
My feelings of a women staying home and raising their children is as strong as when they were taught to me . I believe in equal rights for men and women but also believe a women having children her first concern should be them. Its fine sending the young to pre school it teaches them to interact with others., but do you want a stranger teaching your children what mothers once did , right from wrong the proper way to do thing.
If a women feels the need to have a career that?s fine , but then there is no room for a family. Motherhood to me is as important as any job one could have . A mother not only raiser the children but also keeps the family together, she become a figure of that without there would be no family. She becomes a problem solver, a teacher and much more. Without her there would be no family structure. The love and caring that comes from her heart is so important to a family it would not survive without it .
What a child would miss from a mother would be unforgiving. Over the years people have over looked the important of being a mother. If one had to pay for the job a mother does, most could not afford . The importance of a mother to a family could never be replaced and one should be proud of being a family member as important as a mother is.
