I think the same way. However sometimes I find that my behaviour with them is inconsistent with these ideals... I am not happy telling myself that I am only human. I try to correct matters with the kids by talking to them frankly and if needed accept my fault. But I am also careful to draw the line with regard to reasoning as they are yet to mature and fully understand... I hope to achieve proper communication with them so that they get regulated liberty with me and accept when I have to say no.
It was nice to hear my daughter tell her cousins the other day "When my father scolds me I know what I did was wrong..."

Wonderful Sharu ! I wish every parent reads this. U tried to put sublime thoughts into simple, down to earth wordings. Each line is worth a million. When I was reading through, I felt as if I knew each n everything what is being said, but again I found some freshness all over, n I started feeling I never thought it this way or in this direction. All the while I\'as wondering, how far do we remember all these, while confronting kids n do proper justice with them. Ur thoughts projected maturity and a different perception. As the tile suggested - it is definitely a great insight into a child - parent relationship. I am enjoying it afresh, whenever I\'m reading it. U did a fantastic job. Keep rocking !!!
