Being a mother is the most challenging and rewarding job I have ever had. I started a family at a young age and had only instinct to guide me. It was difficult to get the idea that I could be a good mother and my approach was to be more of a friend. I was not very good with punishment. Experience is the best teacher, and natural consequences were my only hope I had for raising a child. There were many times I didn't think I would survive the tantrums and the crying. I didn't know babies cried so much. Then I found out from an experienced mother that there was something called colic. I bought the over the counter colic relief medicine and changed formula.

She is a loving compassionate woman and I am very proud to be her mother. She is going for a nursing degree and is interested in pediatric nursing. I know she will be great at any thing she sets out to do. Perhaps the vacuum cleaner colic remedy worked in more way than one.
