Mothers are very selfish all the time. I tell you for personal experience. They will only give you something in front of other people just to show to society how good moms they are and not to please you. They will just say good things to you in front of others not because they feel it but just because they want to look good. So typical. I bet 99% of mothers are like this. That's what I see in my family and with my friends too.
How to deal with such moms? Cool! So easy! Remember she loves society and she will do anything to look in society so here is the weak spot! Before any social event get ready for what you want from your mom.
In the social event wait until she is bragging about herself and how much money her husband is making, then shot her! Ask her for money and much more than she usually spends with you. I bet she will give you much more than you ask just to look good in front of her friends.
